This package includes a 9.5M waterproof rear camera cable, making it suitable for longer cable runs in utes, trucks, vans, SUVs, 4WDs and commercial vehicles where the rear camera needs to be mounted outside the vehicle.

The A329SW 2CH records in 4K 60fps from the front camera and 2K from the waterproof rear camera. The 4K 60fps front recording provides smoother motion clarity, which is useful when reviewing fast-moving vehicles, traffic conditions and road incidents.

The 2K waterproof rear camera provides clear rear-facing footage and is designed for exterior mounting, making it ideal for vehicles where rear windscreen mounting is not practical.

This package includes a 9.5M waterproof rear camera cable. The longer cable length helps ensure the rear camera can be routed properly to the back of a ute, truck, van, SUV, 4WD or commercial vehicle.

This is especially useful for larger vehicles where a standard short rear cable may not be long enough, or where the cable needs to be routed through roof lining, side trims, tailgates, canopies, rear doors or rear body panels.

Ute / truck installation note: The included 9.5M rear cable is suitable for many larger vehicles, but final cable fitment depends on the vehicle size, body style and cable routing path. Professional installation is recommended for utes, trucks, vans, canopies and commercial vehicles.

The waterproof rear camera is designed to be mounted outside the vehicle. This makes the A329SW 2CH a strong choice for utes, trucks, vans, 4WDs, SUVs, canopies, tailgates and commercial vehicles where an internal rear camera may be blocked, too far from the rear, or affected by window tint.

Because the rear camera is mounted outside, a rear CPL filter is not required. The waterproof rear camera is designed for exterior use and clear rear recording in suitable mounting locations.

The front camera uses a Sony STARVIS 2 IMX678 8MP sensor, while the waterproof rear camera uses a Sony STARVIS 2 IMX675 5MP sensor. These sensors are designed to improve image clarity, low-light performance and dynamic range.

HDR is supported on both the front and waterproof rear cameras. HDR helps balance bright and dark areas in the image, making footage easier to review in challenging lighting such as night driving, headlights, tunnels, strong sunlight and mixed lighting.

The A329SW 2CH package includes a CPL-200 front filter. This helps reduce windscreen glare, dashboard reflections and bright sunlight reflections from the front camera.

The waterproof rear camera does not require a CPL filter because it is designed for exterior mounting.

Built-in Wi-Fi 6 with 2.4GHz and 5GHz connection allows faster app connection, smoother video preview and quicker file downloads when used with compatible smartphones.

Built-in GPS records route, speed and location data for supported video playback, while voice control allows supported hands-free commands without needing to touch the dash cam.

The A329SW supports external SSD storage for users who need extended recording capacity. This is useful for long-distance driving, fleet use, commercial vehicles and drivers who want longer recording history before older footage is overwritten.

External SSD storage requires a compatible SSD and optional VIOFO SSD data cable, sold separately.

SSD note: External SSD, SSD cable and hardwire kit are sold separately. SSD compatibility and recording time depend on SSD model, dash cam settings, bitrate, firmware version and number of channels used.

The A329SW 2CH supports advanced parking mode features including Hybrid Parking Recording, Low Power Impact Detection, Auto Event Detection, Time-lapse Recording and Low Bitrate Recording.

For parking mode operation, a compatible VIOFO hardwire kit such as the HK6 Type-C ACC Hardwire Kit or HK4 Type-C Hardwire Kit, or a suitable dash cam battery pack such as the VIOFO BP100, is required and sold separately.

Parking mode note: Parking mode requires continuous power from a compatible hardwire kit or battery pack. Standard cigarette lighter power normally turns off when the vehicle is switched off.

The A329SW 2CH has built-in Bluetooth support and can be paired with the optional VIOFO BTR200 Bluetooth remote. This allows quick video lock and snapshot control while driving.

The A329SW uses a built-in super capacitor instead of a traditional lithium battery. This is better suited to vehicle environments where the dash cam may be exposed to heat, cold and daily temperature changes.
